The interest in biochar is growing rapidly, the market is young and is expanding fast. Emotions among those who hear about biochar range from scepticism to hopes that it can save civilization.
EcoTopic works to increase knowledge about biochar, and to build the Swedish and international biochar market; partly for the product biochar – best known as a soil amendment, partly for the carbon sink that is being showed increased interest in times characterized by the need for climate adjustments.
